Seven Students Selected for Catholic University High School Honor Choir

Seven Visitation students have been invited to participate in the 2018 All-Catholic High School Honor Choir Festival at The Catholic University of America (CUA) on this Saturday, February 10: Taylor Baker ‘20, Sophia Colosi ‘19, Annemarie Dougherty ‘18, Jacqueline Friskey ‘18,  Brooke Miller ‘19, Claire Sague ‘19 and Theresa Thomas ‘18. The festival showcases the talent of outstanding students representing area Catholic high schools. These young woman were selected based on their musicianship and contributions to the Visitation choral program.

The one-day experience includes rehearsals throughout the course of the day, a masterclass presented by Professor Rick Christman, Voice Faculty at CUA, and a culminating performance at 4:30 p.m. in St. Vincent’s Chapel on the CUA campus. Students will have the opportunity to work with internationally recognized musicians and educators.
