Reflection, Creativity, Prayer & Fun: Visitation Celebrates Founders' Day

Visitation's annual Founders' Day - celebrating the school's shared Salesian charism and history - returned to campus this year with robust programming and fun in advance of Marshmallow Roast. Students heard from artist Brother Mickey McGrath, OSFS on “Women As Prophetic Founders & Refounders of their Time," created quilt squares under the theme of Living the Little Virtues: Our Common Thread, and learned about Sisters of the past from Monastery Superior Sister Berchmans, VHM. Together, our community celebrated Mass in honor of the Feast of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque; seniors laid flowers on and offered prayers at Sisters' gravesites. Before dismissal for Marshmallow Roast skit practice, students and faculty joined in on some lawn game fun, ending in a faculty/staff egg race!
