Six Seniors Commit to D1 Collegiate Sports
On National Signing Day, the school celebrated six senior student-athletes who have committed to play their sport at the Division I collegiate level:
- Helen B. will play soccer at the US Naval Academy;
- Caitlin B. will play soccer at Davidson College;
- Addy C. will play lacrosse at Virginia Tech;
- Annie M. will play lacrosse at Drexel University;
- Quinn M. will play lacrosse at Stanford University; and
- Grace S. will play soccer at UCLA.
The students gathered with their families and coaches for photos on Wednesday, November 13.
"One thing I’m excited to take with me from Visitation to UCLA is the Little Virtue of perseverance. Even in times of adversity, it’s important to find strength in God and the people around me," said Grace. "This virtue will be helpful for when I adapt into a new environment at UCLA and need extra strength to keep me motivated in times of difficulty on and off the field."
"My four years as a Cub has instilled in me a hardworking and unwavering drive, that will help me excel at the D1 level and in a competitive environment like Stanford," said Quinn.
Congratulations, Cubs! Visitation looks forward to celebrating all our collegiate athletic commitments in the spring!
