Juniors Grow Closer at Annual Retreat
Juniors embarked on their annual retreat last week at West River, focusing on the theme of "The Visitation: Our Foundation."
Together as a class, and in small groups, they reflected on their time at Visitation thus far and how they can deepen their friendships, becoming stronger as a class. In order to live in the present moment and be present to one another and the still, small voice of God, there were no academic or device distractions.
Enani '26 valued the small group time they spent together the most. She said, "My favorite thing about junior retreat was our little groups, where I got to speak to my classmates in more vulnerable way and build a more sisterly bond."
In addition to celebrating Mass together and having small group activities, they participated in class-wide experiences as well.
"I felt the most sisterhood when we wrote and read letters to each other. They acted as a reminder that the small actions we do every day can have a big impact on our friends," said Michaela '26. "Reading that made me feel really loved, and I hope it made others feel loved, too."
