With the wrap on the winter athletic season, Director of Athletics Mary Veith ‘05 held an awards ceremony to honor student-athletes during assembly on Thursday, March 12.

All athletes received pins to wear on their kilts, while varsity athletes also received a varsity letter. Each team also chose athletes to honor, and the community celebrated those who won championships and all-league ISL certificates. Team managers were also thanked for their contributions.

Most Improved Player awards included:

• Helena R. - JV Ice Hockey
• Sofia F. - JV Basketball
• Adrienne M. - Indoor Track & Field

Most Outstanding/Valuable Player awards included:

• Lilah G. - Swim
• Gabby G. - Swim
• Mairin R. - JV Ice Hockey
• Nora N. - JV Ice Hockey
• Isabella M. - Freshman Basketball
• Maren P. - Freshman Basketball
• Coco M. - Indoor Track & Field

Coaches’ Awards were given to:

• Mo B. - Swim
• Annie B. - JV Basketball
• Helena K. - Indoor Track & Field

Exceptional Teammate was awarded to:

• Hadley B. - Varsity Ice Hockey
• Carolina A. - Freshman Basketball
• Madison D. - Varsity Basketball

Most Spirited went to:

• Alina M. - Varsity Basketball

The ‘Be It Well’ award for strong moral character through practice of the Little Virtues was given to Jackie G. on Varsity Ice Hockey and Keira K. on Varsity Basketball. The Sister Bernadine Award, named in memory of Sr. Bernadine, VHM, honored Keegan C. on Varsity Ice Hockey and Claire K. on Freshman Basketball for demonstrating, in Sister’s words, “dedication, love of the game, sense of fair play, and team spirit.”

Additional Honors included First Team All-MAGHL for Ellie M. for Varsity Ice Hockey. All-ISLs were awarded to:

• Alyssa F. - Varsity Basketball
• Becca S. - Varsity Basketball
• Charlotte W. (Honorable Mention) - Varsity Basketball
