The Dan Kerns Legacy Fund
The Dan Kerns Legacy Fund includes three special initiatives aligned with Dan's work and legacy.
The Dan Kerns Endowed Scholarship Fund will honor Dan for his 33 years of service, selfless dedication, and commitment to educating women of faith, vision, and purpose. According to Dan's wishes, this scholarship will be awarded annually to a deserving young woman who might not otherwise be able to attend Visitation.
The Dan Kerns Salesian Leadership Award - an award of $2,000 - will be presented annually to one faculty and one staff member. These individuals will have demonstrated their dedication to upholding Salesian values and virtues within the school community.
The Soccer Program and Field Enhancements: the current soccer field needs renovation, including a new scoreboard. Plans are being developed to recognize Dan for his years of contributions to the soccer program at Visitation.
