Since we cannot gather together on campus, we are bringing Esprit home to you! Join us online for our silent auction, movie night, wine tasting, and a cookie decorating class! Learn more below.

Put on your favorite Christmas PJ's (Visi sweatpants included!), grab some popcorn, and pick a Christmas movie to watch on the streaming service of your choice! Will you go classic, like the Grinch Who Stole Christmas? Will you pick a modern fave, like the Christmas Chronicles? It's up to you.

Wine Tasting | Saturday, November 7, 6 - 7 p.m.

Join us for a Zoom Happy Hour with the Fess Parker Winery in support of Georgetown Visitation. Delivery of wine is available anywhere in the United States - participants do not have to be local to the DMV.

For over thirty years the Parker family has been making wine on California’s Central Coast (Santa Barbara) focused on estate grown Rhône varietals and Burgundian varietals from the renowned Sta. Rita Hills and Santa Barbara County AVA’s.

Ashley Parker and her husband, winery president, Tim Snider, will take you on a virtual tour of the winery, discuss the vineyard sites and taste through three of their most popular wines with you to celebrate your holiday event.

Price includes three bottles of wine: 2018 Santa Barbara County Chardonnay, 2018 Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir, and 2017 Syrah.

Cookie Decorating Class | Sunday, November 8, 3 - 4 p.m.

Have you ever wanted to learn how to decorate cookies using royal icing? Carly Ogren of Sweet C Baking is here to show you how it's done through Zoom! Participants must pick up materials at Visitation, so registration is limited local to the DMV.

In this class, you will learn the basics of royal icing and several different decorating techniques including flooding, piping, and wet-on-wet. We will practice our piping and flooding skills before decorating sugar cookies.

Your cookie kit will include six sugar cookies (one pre-flooded), royal icing, sprinkles, and a cookie scribe tool. Cookie kits must be picked up from campus on November 7, and details will be emailed to registered participants. This class is aimed for beginners, so come as you are!
