Annual Events

You can look forward to these events every year! Use the calendar above to find the date these events are occurring this year.

Lifelong Learning Series

Learn from other alumnae in this annual summer series. One event is held in June, July, and August, each featuring a different lifestyle or career subject. Previous topics have included finance, personal branding, networking, and the job search. The June event kicks off our Summer Mentor Program.

Alumnae Induction and Graduates Coffee

Graduating seniors and their mothers are invited to a reception honoring our newest alumnae as they become members of the Alumnae Association.

Teddy Bear Tea

Alumnae are invited to bring their children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews ages 0-10 for refreshments, face painting, and games. Teddy Bears are welcome, but not required.

Alumnae Columbus Day of Service

Join fellow alumnae and their families as we package food for local homeless shelters. Often the group creates breakfast bags for Catholic Charities' Cup of Joe program. This is one of two alumnae service days a year.

New York Alumnae Reception

Alumnae from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut are invited to join Head of School Dr. Barbara McGraw Edmondson in New York to hear about what's happening on 35th Street.

Esprit de Noel

Alumnae are invited to attend this annual Christmas Market, with over 70 unique vendors. Stop by Friday night’s Bistro Happy Hour for a chance to catch up with fellow alumnae, parents and other members of the Visitation community. Learn more!

Gold-White Homecoming

Held during Winter Gold-White, alumnae and their families are invited to celebrate the friendly rivalry and their team with other alumnae in Lalor House.

Thanksgiving Eve Reunions

Give thanks for your Visi family! College-age students gather on campus at Lalor House to reunite with high school friends. Alumnae 21 and older are invited to celebrate at Town Hall.

Alumnae Christmas Eve Mass

Join us to celebrate our Savior's birth and this joyous time of year.

Gonzaga Business Network Career Fair

College aged and recent college graduates are invited to attend this event with over 90 businesses that are looking to hire for full time, part time, and internship positions. The event is held at Gonzaga and hosted by the Gonzaga Business Network. Please check the Alumnae calendar for this year's date.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

During our second service project of the year, gather with other alumnae and their families to package food for a local homeless shelter. Families welcome!

Florida Alumnae Reception

Whether you live in Florida, winter in the Sunshine State, or are visiting, please join Head of School Dr. Barbara McGraw Edmondson for this annual gathering held every winter to hear about what's happening on 35th Street. The event alternates between locations on the east and west coast.

Boston Alumnae Brunch

Alumnae living in the greater Boston area gather for a fun and festive Sunday brunch to learn about what's happening on 35th Street.

Junior Career Day

This event is a special collaboration between the Counseling and Alumnae Offices that welcomes accomplished Visitation graduates in a range of career fields back to campus to address the junior class. Through a keynote lecture and panel discussions, students glean tips, tools, and insights from fellow Visitation women and hear firsthand accounts of professions ranging from medicine to marketing, journalism to education. Each component of the day also features a Q&A session so that students can ask about specific issues and get personalized feedback and advice.

Return to campus for a fun-filled weekend reuniting and reminiscing with classmates. The weekend offers reunioners a multitude of events over three days. Friday night features an all-alumnae Happy Hour in the Quad, followed by class-specific parties for reunion years. At Saturday's luncheon, we honor several women with our alumnae awards and celebrate each class. Saturday night includes an exciting cocktail dinner with class photos, a DJ, and dancing! Invitations are mailed in February. Learn more about Reunion.
