All teachers, administrators, and staff are here to support each student and ensure that she has what she needs to achieve her personal best. Teachers are available to students who want or need extra help outside of class, whether to prepare for a test or assist with a science fair project or essay competition.
Our Learning Support faculty are valuable resources for students and parents alike.
Learning Support teachers work with students who may need additional academic support to ensure their successful transition to high school. The Director teaches Learning Support and Strategies, freshman- and sophomore-level courses that build study, planning and organization, time management, and other skills necessary for academic success. Students learn to assess their own learning styles and develop effective personal learning strategies. All teachers rely on the expertise of the Learning Support faculty to nurture personal excellence in all students.
Our counselors support student well-being and healthy adolescent development that focuses on each grade's needs.
Our counselors work individually with each student to help them find the college that is the best fit for them.
The Director of Learning Support can assist parents in arranging all accommodations for the ACT and SAT tests. Parents must log in to the Learning Support Portal Page for instructions and timelines.
Accommodations for all other assessments are handled by the Academic Dean.
