What is your favorite thing about Visi?
My favorite thing about Visitation has got to be the people. I have met people who have changed my life. I have met lifelong friends and people who will help me for the rest of my life. Visitation has helped me greatly in shaping the person I am today.
Why did you choose the school?
I chose to attend Visi because of the great environment. As soon as I stepped on campus I felt at home, everyone was so warm and friendly and I fit right in.
Which class has been your favorite so far?
My favorite class thus far has been history, I love learning about past events and seeing how they relate to today’s world.
How would you describe the school's classroom environment?
The learning environment is unique at Visitation because there are so many opportunities for people to find their passions: from sports, clubs, classes, contests, and volunteer opportunities. Everyone at Visitation does something different, but the great thing is we all can celebrate each other’s accomplishments and value them.
What is your favorite tradition?
My favorite tradition is Gold-White. The week of going to Headquarters every day, seeing people painting sweatshirts, and forming new friendships makes me happy. Going to the sleepover house, Mass in the morning, and having breakfast together are things I look forward to because of the environment. There is no better feeling than being on the trolley with your fellow Gold Team members screaming and chanting. And when you meet with the White Team to take pictures, what I love is that there is no animosity towards the other team, everyone runs up and hugs one another because even though we are on different teams, we are all a part of the same great Visitation community.
What do you love about playing sports at Visi?
I love the team camaraderie. Our team is so close and we are always very supportive of one another. I am always so excited to go to practice or play a game with my team because of how much fun we had together. We made so many memories over the season and they are my second family.
Which is your favorite Salesian Little Virtue?
My favorite Salesian Little Virtue is generosity. My goal everyday is to do something generous for someone else. I believe if you are generous to others, they will return the favor.
What do you do outside of school?
I play AAU basketball and volunteer at a local boys and girls club tutoring middle school children.
