Posted March 29, 2012

The Visitation Masqueraders' production of "Thoroughly Modern Millie," a Roaring '20s-era romp through the big city with a small-town girl, received standing ovations this past weekend. Performances were sold out, and Head of School Dan Kerns said, "The acting, singing and dancing (great tap dancing!!) were exceptional. Congratulations go to David Nastal, his production team, and to the cast and crew for their incredible presentations."

The Dance Ensemble and Irish Dance Club will perform at the National Cherry Blossom Festival Tues., Apr. 3 at 3:15 (to 3:45) at the Sylvan Theatre. For more details on this free show, please see the online festival program or the festival website.

Campus dancers will again hit the stage on Apr. 26 at 7 p.m. for the annual Visitation Dance Concert (Nolan Center). Don't miss this FREE, and thrilling, evening of works from student, faculty, and guest choreographers. Jazz, modern, fusion, hip-hop, and other dance styles will all be on the bill.
