  • Class of 2013 Alum Induction Ceremony

    Seniors were officially welcomed into the Alumnae Association on Wed., May 1 during a luncheon on the Canney Terrace. Alumnae Association President Eileen Langevin Fitzgerald '75 and others gave remarks.

  • Diversity Day 2013

    This year's Diversity Day program, "Girl on Fire," focused on societal, media, and personal perceptions of women, particularly women in power. The school's Kaleidoscope Multicultural Club and its tireless leaders have spent the year preparing for the event, which included a guest speaker, film screening, small-group and all-school discussions, exercises, and a talent show.

  • Career Day 2013

    More than 40 accomplished alumnae representing a host of professions returned to campus on Fri., Mar. 22 for Career Day. Lawyer Liz Goergen Silver '01 gave the keynote address. Students then attended small panel discussions with inspiring alums, who delivered useful advice and insights and shared anecdotes.

Founded in 1799 in Washington, D.C., Georgetown Visitation is a college preparatory school for girls in grades 9-12. We are rooted in the Roman Catholic faith and Salesian tradition, and are committed to educating young women from diverse backgrounds.
