Cub for a Day
We invite all interested 8th-grade students to experience Visitation through a full-day visit. Our "Cub for a Day" program provides girls with an opportunity to explore our campus, meet teachers and students, and get a taste of our classes and activities.
Our academic day runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors should arrive for check-in at 8:30 a.m. and report to Founders Hall. Interviews will take place during their Cub visit. A complimentary lunch will be provided to our visitors to include a salad and sandwich bar, a hot entree, fruit, and a beverage. Visitors should wear their school uniform, if applicable, or attire appropriate for church. No jeans, please.
Applicants who cannot spend a day on campus are asked to schedule an interview after submitting their application. Interviews are informal and allow an Admissions Committee member to meet a prospective student, learn more about her academic and personal interests and achievements, and answer her questions about the school. A parent or guardian need not be present, as the interview is primarily an opportunity to meet with the student.
The first day to schedule a Cub visit is in September. Visits run between September 23 and December 5.
Transfer students may also be a Cub for a Day February through April. Please call the Admissions Office after February 3 to schedule.
To schedule a campus tour, please contact Lisa Draddy in the Admissions Office at 202.337.3350, ext 2238.
