Mission Statement

The Georgetown Visitation Alumnae Association was founded in 1893 by a group of loyal graduates who wished to establish an organization which would enable them to maintain the spiritual bonds and friendships which they had established with the Sisters, the faculty and one another during their years at the school.

The Association continues to serve its members through annual reunions, educational and spiritual programs, and alumnae association sponsored gatherings. The Association also promotes the alumnae as a resource which can help Visitation reach its educational, fund raising and other goals in accordance with the school’s mission statement.

We move toward these goals, fortified by the spiritual and educational values which helped to form us during our years at Visitation, and by the abiding friendships through which we continue to share these values.
